For the Wyoming Office of Tourism, I wrote a TV spot that reframed family vacations by contrasting formulaic big-city attractions—zoos, malls, amusement parks, waterparks—with Wyoming’s natural equivalents. Instead of a manmade water slide, families could witness Old Faithful erupt. Instead of a zoo, they could see bison and bears in the wild. The campaign challenged the notion that Wyoming lacks traditional vacation offerings by showing that what it offers instead is far more authentic, awe-inspiring, and unforgettable.
